Canal Street – Water Main Repair

UPDATE: Crews have restored water service to all but civic #1 Canal Street.                          

Halifax Water crews are on-site repairing a water main on Canal Street in Dartmouth.

Customers between civics 1 and 20 Canal Street are out of water service. There is no estimate of water service restoration at this time. There will be stop and go traffic in the work zone. Sidewalks will remain open.

Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
