From 11:00 PM on Friday, March 6, to 8:00 AM on Saturday, March 7, Halifax Water crews will be performing wastewater system maintenance near the intersection of Bedford Highway and Hammonds Plains Road, Bedford. This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.
There will be lane reductions in the work zone. Two-way traffic will be maintained. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks remain open.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
