Halifax Water crews will be undertaking stormwater system maintenance Monday, June 29th on the Bedford Highway.
This work will require a lane drop on the outer inbound lane of the Bedford Highway between the Fairview Overpass and Windsor Street Exchange (see attached map). Work hours will be 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday, June 29th. Pedestrian access will not be impacted by this work.
Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
For the safety of work crews and residents, please maintain social/physical distancing requirements of at least 2 metres/6 feet.
