Attention motorists, cyclists and pedestrians, Halifax Water crews are repairing a wastewater lateral near 175 Bedford Highway. This work will take place until approximately 8:00 PM this evening.
The Bedford Highway has been reduced to one outbound lane near the CN Rockingham Yard at 175 Bedford Highway. The sidewalk is closed on this side of the highway; pedestrian detours are in place.
Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
There will be no loss of water, wastewater or stormwater services as a result of this work.
