Halifax Water crews have completed their work near 7015 Bayers Road and are off the street.
Both lanes of traffic are now open.
Halifax Water crews will be undertaking a water main repair this morning (Friday, January 8) near 7015 Bayers Road in Halifax.
This work will require a lane drop on the bridge over the CN rail cut near 7015 Bayers Road from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. One lane of traffic flow will be maintained. The sidewalk in the work zone will remain open.
Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow around the work zone. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
