Halifax Water crews have completed their wastewater system maintenance on Spring Garden Road.
Worked scheduled to take place tonight (Tuesday) was completed Monday night.
Halifax Water will be undertaking wastewater system maintenance on Spring Garden Road in Halifax beginning Monday, November 9.
On Monday, November 9 from 6:00 PM – 11:30 PM there will be lane drops on Spring Garden Road between South Park Street and Breton Place. The traffic lights at the intersection of Spring Garden Road and Dresden Row will be shutdown.
On Tuesday, November 10, from 6:00 PM – 11:30 PM there will be stop and go traffic on Spring Garden Road between Birmingham Street and Queen Street. The traffic lights at the intersection of Spring Garden Road and Queen Street will be shutdown.
There will be no loss of water, wastewater or stormwater services.
Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
For the safety of work crews and residents, please maintain social/physical distancing requirements of at least 2 metres/6 feet.
