Halifax Water crews will be undertaking water system maintenance beginning approximately 8:00 AM tomorrow morning (Thursday, June 11th) continuing until approximately 12 midnight Saturday, June 13th.
This necessary work could see some areas of peninsular Halifax (see attached map) experience discoloured water and/or reduced water pressure. Crews will make every effort to minimize impacts to customers.
Halifax Water recommends any customers who experience discoloured water flush their cold water lines until the water is clear and avoid using the water for direct consumption purposes until the water is clear. There will be no loss of water, wastewater or stormwater service.
