Properties impacted by the water service shutdown have received written notice. Residents in the water service shutdown area advised to store a supply of water for cooking, cleaning, flushing toilets, etc. It is also recommended that you refrain from using appliances dependent on hot water, and if possible, to shut these appliances and your hot water tank off during construction, to prevent elements from burning out.

As part of this work there will stop and go traffic in the work zone near 564 Herring Cove Rd from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Friday, June 7th; the afternoon of Saturday, June 8th – morning of Sunday, June 9th; and 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday, June 10th. Access will be maintained for cyclists and pedestrians.

Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow around the work zone. On-site personnel will also maintain communication with local residents and businesses to help minimize disruption. Motorists and cyclists are asked to use alternate routes and expect delays. Motorists and cyclists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.

We apologize for any inconvenience this necessary infrastructure improvement work may cause.
