In response to COVID-19, Halifax Water staff will only enter into homes for emergency work or water service connections.

When Halifax Water staff do need to enter a home, the staff member(s) will be wearing protective coveralls, a disposable face mask/respirator, eye protection, disposable gloves and will have Halifax Water identification. This equipment will be worn for all in-home work and is not an indication of the presence of COVID-19 on any property.

For the safety of homeowners and Halifax Water staff, Halifax Water requests that prior to employees entering a home, any residents that are self-isolating inside the home wear a disposable mask or handkerchief over their mouth and nose while Halifax Water staff are in the home undertaking their necessary work.
