UPDATE: Cole Harbour Area – Wastewater System Repairs (December 8, 2022)
Halifax Water crews have reconfigured the wastewater system to enable the completion of this emergency wastewater system repair work in the Cole Harbour area.
Customers in the impacted area can resume normal water use. Thank you to our customers for helping reduce pressure on the wastewater system by reducing water use during this time.
We appreciate your assistance in this matter and apologize for any inconvenience this wastewater system repair work may cause.

Halifax Water crews are undertaking emergency wastewater system repairs in the Cole Harbour area.
While this work occurs, we are asking customers in the area shown (see attached map) to please reduce wastewater flows, including running water, flushing toilets or doing laundry during this time. This will help reduce pressure on the wastewater system as these repairs are being made.
An update will be provided when an estimated completion time is available.
