Customer Connect: Access Your Account Online

Halifax Water is pleased to announce that customers can now access their Halifax Water accounts and a suite of services online through Customer Connect.

Following the installation of over 83,000 new water meters, Halifax Water can now offer several benefits to customers through Customer Connect, the new, convenient and easy way for Halifax Water customers to access and manage their account online!

Customers can sign up for Customer Connect with ease by visiting www.halifaxwater.ca and clicking the “My Account” button in the menu bar at the top of the page.

Halifax Water General Manager Cathie O’Toole said, “The information available through Customer Connect will help customers manage their water consumption and their bills, and there are also benefits to Halifax Water. Reducing water consumption has a positive environmental impact, can help reduce Halifax Water’s greenhouse gas emissions, preserve capacity within our systems and possibly reduce some future capital costs.” With the support of over 83,000 customers who now have the latest in metering technology, the initial benefits of the Customer Connect program are now available. Customer Connect puts customers in control of their account.”

Through Customer Connect, customers can receive alerts for continuous water flow or high usage, manage their water use and costs by monitoring daily consumption, receive bills online, request to start or cancel Halifax Water services, receive bill and payment notifications online, sign up for local service or traffic interruption notices and much more!

Once a customer has registered their account, historical and daily water consumption data will be available to them in approximately 24 hours.
Halifax Water continues to work to improve Customer Connect, with further upgrades currently underway. We encourage our customers to sign up and take advantage of the information made available through Customer Connect.
