Cobequid Road & Glendale Drive – Repair Complete

Halifax Water crews have completed the water main repair near the intersection of Cobequid Road and Glendale Drive.

All customers in the impacted area may experience discoloured water. To learn more about discoloured water, visit: https://halifaxwater.ca/discoloured-water

Customers in the communities of Fall River, Waverley, Windsor Junction, Capilano, Miller Lake, Frame, Silverside, Lakeview & Lower Sackville (Cobequid Road - Glendale Drive Outbound - see map) may have low water pressure as the distribution system returns to normal.

Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.

For the safety of work crews and residents, please maintain social/physical distancing requirements of at least 2 metres/6 feet.

Halifax Water crews continue to work to repair a water main break near the intersection of Cobequid Road and Glendale Drive.
Customers in the communities of Fall River, Waverley, Windsor Junction, Capilano, Miller Lake, Frame, Silverside, Lakeview & Lower Sackville (Cobequid Road - Glendale Drive Outbound) may have low water pressure or no water service until the water main is repaired. Water service restoration for customers in the areas listed above is expected between 8:00 AM and noon today.

Customers in Windsor Junction, Fall River, Lakeview, Waverley, and Bedford Commons may have low water pressure or no water service until the water main is repaired. Crews are working to shift impacted customers to alternate water supplies.

There is no estimated time of water service restoration at this time.
