Wildwood Boulevard – Water Valve Installation

Beginning at 7:00 AM on Friday, September 11th until approximately noon on Sunday, September 13th, Dexter Construction on behalf of Halifax Water will be on-site installing a water valve near 10 Wildwood Boulevard, Dartmouth. This work will affect water service for customers in the area from 7:00AM to11:00 PM on Saturday, September 12th. Impacted water service customers have received notices in advance. 

Wildwood Boulevard will be open to local traffic only in the work zone. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. 

This water shut down may result in low water pressure throughout portions of Dartmouth, Cole Harbour and Westphal. See map for impacted area.

Customers in the area may experience discoloured water during/following this repair. It is recommended that those customers run the COLD water at one faucet until the water runs clear. To learn more about discoloured water and to report it, please visit www.halifaxwater.ca/discoloured-water. 

Customer in the area may also experience construction related noise during the overnight portion of the work.
