Halifax Water crews have restored water service to customers on Robie Street between Almon Street and Young Street. Stop and go traffic remains in place on Robie Street near Macara Street.
Some customers in the area may experience temporarily discoloured water. If discolouration occurs, run the COLD water at one faucet for about 10 minutes. You should see the water clear. Do not use the hot water faucet since this will draw discoloured water into your hot water heater/tank, which could make the problem worse. Experienced traffic control personnel are on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
