From 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Tuesday, November 25, Halifax Water crews will complete wastewater system maintenance on portions of Main Avenue and Willet Street, Halifax.
The following traffic impacts will be in place during this maintenance:
- In the morning, there will be a lane closure on Willet Avenue between Dunbrack Street and Main Street. Two-way traffic will be maintained. Sidewalks remain open.
- In the afternoon, there will be a lane closure with an altered centre line on Main Avenue between Dunbrack Street and Willett Street. Two-way traffic will be maintained. Sidewalks remain open.
Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows.
This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
